Line Counseling wants to help you feel understood, seen and heard.

“As an immigrant myself, I know the difficulties someone like me can go through. I don’t want to just be a counselor who provides mental health services to Koreans - I want to be remembered as a companion.”

Joon Koh, MA, LPC

Our vision is to foster a culture where Korean Americans can live their fullest lives.

Why we focus on mental health

Years of anxiety, misunderstanding, and hidden pain can affect even the strongest of us. And we know it’s hard to ask for help.

South Korea holds one of the highest rates of mental illness in the world, and social stigma have influenced Koreans living in the U.S. to avoid seeking help. And it’s not your fault - there is a lack of quality resources and mental health professionals who can truly understand Korean Americans and our cultural differences. We want to make a difference for the Dallas metroplex.

Line Counseling has a unique understanding of the Korean American experience and is passionate about helping individuals to live full, vital, and meaningful lives. We want to help you build healthy relationships, manage challenges effectively, and live your fullest life because you deserve it.

We provide counseling in both Korean and English for individuals, couples, and families. Our goal is to become a pillar of support in our community, and provide a safe place for you to talk. Together, we can create better mental habits, establish a sense of stability and peace, and work towards living a happier and healthier life.

Why Bother?

Because right now, there is someone out there with a wound in the exact shape of your words.
